Welcome
to anyone who is interested in music, folk dancing and folklore of any country.
Beginner or advanced dancer, between the age of 8 and 90+ year, you will find a group of people who love getting together and dance to the wonderful musics of many countries. We meet once a week to dance, have fun, relax, and exercise.
Time & Place
Every Sunday from 2.00 to 4.00 p.m.
at
Cherry Street Studio, 2908 E. 15th Street, Tulsa OK.
No partner necessary, and no formal attire or costume is needed; wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Admission is free!
Beginners
If you've never done it before...
We will start by teaching you very easy dances. Then once you've learned the basic steps, you'll be able to learn more advanced dances.
We will give you a tape with the dances you have learned, so that you can practice at home, or simply enjoy listening to the uplifting musics in your car.
We dance for the pleasure of dancing among friends.
Schools
We have been teaching in schools, middle schools and high-schools.
We have noticed how the kids enjoy dancing, and how they interact to help each other and take responsability in leading a dance. We truly think this is a great experience for them, that will influence their life and their interest for other cultures, musics and dance.
Performances
We are available to give performances for the public or for special small groups.
